Wilberforce Family History Book, written & illustrated by Sarah E Holmes
In 2004, Sarah produced a book, a culmination of over twenty years researching her family history, which she began as a child. It is titled \'Famous Relations: My Wilberforce Family from Yorkshire\' and is a full history of her Wilberforce family roots dating back to 1066.
During her research, Sarah discovered links with other Yorkshire and Hull families, including Burrill, Smith, Hudson, Weatherill, Catchpole and Sissons.
The book is illustrated with photographs taken by Sarah and also includes several of her pencil drawings. One of these, entitled \'Stamford Bridge, York\', is for sale, as an original, and can be found in the landscape gallery of this website.
Privately printed, copies of the book have been distributed in all East Riding of Yorkshire Libraries, and details can be found on the East Riding of Yorkshire Library Services website.
